The United Kingdom is made up of four different countries. They are all on the same group of islands but each one is special in its own way!

Famous for its castles and the King!

Famous for its mountains and bagpipes!

Wales
Capital City: Cardiff
Famous for its dragons and castles!

Northern Ireland
Capital City: Belfast
Famous for its green fields and Giant's Causeway!

In the United Kingdom, we have four different seasons. The weather changes throughout the year!

Weather Watchers
Keep a weather diary for a week! Each day, draw a picture of the weather and write down if it's sunny, rainy, windy, or cloudy.

Detached House
A house that stands by itself and isn't attached to any other houses.

Semi-Detached House
A house that is joined to one other house on one side.

Terraced House
Houses that are joined together in a row.

Flat/Apartment
A home that is part of a larger building with other homes.
